Does my new Kevin Reilly light fixture include bulbs?
Yes, all fixtures are shipped with the necessary light bulbs. The bulbs for all candle fixtures should only be replaced with Kevin Reilly brand bulbs. Standard included bulb is 25watt incandescent. Optional 3watt LED bulbs are available.
If the candles are made out of real wax, won’t they melt? What is the melting point?
The melting point is 165 degrees Fahrenheit. The candles will not melt under recommended wattage and normal use. The fixture should never be covered while on—this will lead to excessive heat being produced and the candles be damaged.
What type of glass is used?
Most fixtures are fitted with mouth blown crystal glass. For some of our larger size fixtures we use a German restoration glass.
What information do I need to request a quote?
We will need to know the size, drop length, and desired finish for your lamp(s). Also, a billing and shipping address are required to determine shipping.
How do I arrange shipping of my new fixture?
Kevin Reilly can make all shipping arrangements but you may also choose to use your own shipper, and we will provide all the necessary information
Does Kevin Reilly offer any custom lighting options?
None of our fixtures are limited to the standard sizes shown—custom options are available for all lamps.
What materials are used?
We use only the highest quality materials for both indoor and outdoor fixtures. Fixtures for outdoor use will be made of rust-resistant stainless steel.
Every authentic Kevin Reilly fixture is handmade in the United States and ships from Montgomery, Alabama, USA.
What types of shades are offered?
In addition to our standard aquarelle paper shade we offer a more durable tri-lam shade, resistant to humid conditions often found in bathrooms, etc.
Do you provide DFAs?
We do not provide any CAD or shop drawings. For custom orders we will provide a drawing for approval once 50% deposit is paid.
What is the lead time to make a new fixture?
Each fixure is made to measure and requires an average of 6-8 weeks for production. Custom fixtures require an average of 10-12 weeks.
What if I need to have my lighting sooner?
If you are on tight deadline we are able to expedite production for an additional charge. We also have a selection of sconces, table lamps, and floor lamps in stock and ready to ship.
